The short version

The short version

I’ve spent years thinking about how people make decisions — not the easy, reversible kind, but the ones that show up when the ground shifts and most of the usual options are gone.

That thinking became Focus Forward, conversations on stages and podcasts, a weekly newsletter, and a community for people trying to move forward with intention instead of panic.

I believe clarity is a skill, not a personality trait — and that we prepare ourselves in advance to make the best decisions in the moment.

Why this exists

How this can help you

How this can help you

I’m not here to hand you a formula. I’m here to help you get better at the part of life nobody prepares you for: deciding well when the ground moves and the unknown, uncomfortable and unwelcome is the only path forward. Focus Forward, and everything I write, comes from turning hard lessons learned through dramatic challenges and circumstances into a way of thinking anyone can use.

About me

Author

I wrote Focus Forward to turn the lessons that changed my life into a practical way of framing life's experiences to see their essential purpose correctly and thinking about hard choices.

Speaker

I lead keynotes and workshops for teams and audiences facing real, high-stakes decisions — not hypothetical ones.

Community builder

I run a personal growth community on Skool for people who want to face their own hero's journey and travel it successfully.

The Long Version

People often remark that it seems as though I’ve lived ten lives already within the scope of this one. It feels like that to me as well. The long version of my story is quite a long and strange trip. Too long for this about page. So, stay tuned to our Substack, subscribe to our Skool community and keep your eyes out for podcast appearances. Truth is stranger than fiction, and I’ll try and share as much of it as I can.

Beyond the work

Beyond the work

When I’m not writing or preparing a talk, I’m usually spending time with my partner Michelle, coaching drivers at race tracks across Europe and North America, working on one of my businesses, traveling or road tripping, or leading a small group of students through a 7-year personal transformation course I have created called 'Atasophy' - which means 'the wisdom of the journey'.
